Donald Jones - Senior Pastor

Donald and Sandra Jones have been pastoring the Church of God since 1993. They have been married for eighteen years and have a young son named Benjamin. Donald Jones came to Spotsylvania Church of God as the Associate Pastor in March of 2002. He became Senior Pastor the following year in 2003. His ministry style includes a warm, personal approach with people and an exciting, Pentecostal style of pulpit ministry. His preaching ministry promotes the salvation message of the Gospel with the mandate to live holy before the Lord. He maintains a biblical theology which embraces the principle “clean hands and a pure heart”. He believes that while ministry must ever be changing, the message of the Bible must never change.

Todd Rigney - Associate Pastor

Todd and Melissa Rigney came to the Spotsylvania Church of God in the fall of 2005. Todd serves as the Associate Pastor, overseeing Christian Education and Communications. He attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and has served in pastoral ministry for twelve years. He is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God denomination. Todd and Melissa have three young boys named Nathan, Jared, and Luke. They are thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at the Spotsylvania Church of God and in the Fredericksburg area and are looking forward to greater things to come!

Kriss Fox - Music Pastor

Kriss and Jackie Fox have been music pastors at the Spotsylvania Church since August of 2005.  They came here after serving with the Cliffview Church of God in Galax, VA for nearly ten years as music pastor.  Kriss graduated from East Coast Bible College (Charlotte, NC) in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in church music and has been involved with music ministry since that time.  He is a credentialed Minister of Music with the Church of God denomination and currently serves on the state’s music board.  Kriss and Jackie have three lovely teen-aged daughters; Kinzie, Kayla, and Kelsey.

Chris Grant - Student Ministries Pastor

Chris Grant presently leads Elevated Student Ministries here at Spotsylvania Church of God. With over five years of youth ministry experience, Chris and his wife, Emily, have a desire to see young people serve God with passion and others with compassion. Chris is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God denomination and has also earned two B.S. Degrees in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University in 2005. Pastor Chris and Emily are honored to be a part of what God is doing among the youth of the Spotsylvania Church of God, and they look forward to the wonderful things Christ will continue to do in the future! They have one daughter named Madalynn Grace.

Rita Mills - Children's Ministry Pastor

Rita Mills has served in Children’s Ministries for twelve years.  She has completed the MAP (Ministerial Affirmation Program) and the MIP (Ministerial Internship Program)  in the Church of God.   Her passion is to see kids develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and effectively prepare them through Bible Teaching, Discipleship and Ministry Training for what God has for them in the future.  She is surrounded with a great team of Children’s Ministry Workers who possess her vision for the children of Spotsylvania Church of God.

Autumn Heflin - Young Adult/Small Groups Pastor

Autumn and Kirk Heflin have been involved in Young Adult Ministries since creating the Remnant Ministry in July 2002. They previously served as Youth Leaders for over 8 years at the Spotsylvania Church of God. In October 2007, Autumn became a licensed minister in the Church of God and was hired on staff in January 2008 as the Young Adult and Life Groups Pastor. Autumn's passion is to lead young adults into a deeper walk with the Lord. They are excited to be a part of such a thriving and vibrant ministry within the church. Pastor Autumn and Kirk are the parents of two precious daughters: Sarah Kate and Elizabeth.
